Oh fab news!!!! Well done!! Are you taking it, tell us all about it again, hours, money, duties, scope etc.....
Some of us aren't always paying that much attention! i.e. me!
Although there have been a few possibilities on the go, so please clarify.
:j :j :j well done though!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Not quite sure why I'm excited, but I am chuffed!!! Talk about full circle - my first job in Poole was an admin one with the council and I never thought I'd be starting again, but I'm happy. I start on Monday 17th March - I'm away 3-11 and my new manager is away before that so not worth starting before then.
I can choose whether to do 4 or 5 days as it is 18.5 hours. I'll clear £558 a month after tax (so not a huge salary) so I'll need to do £600 a month with AQA which will be easily do-able. I've found over the last few weeks that I'm pootling away the morning doing not very much and I'm still earning £900 or so on AQA in the afternoons and weekends.
It's working for Adult Education doing support admin. Apparently the woman who was sat in the office whilst I did the test and then 'revealed' herself to me in the interview as head honcho is excited about me starting! I'll be on 6 months probation and then I'll get a payrise. Can't see it will be much, but whatever it is will be fine. They said at the interview that for someone with initiative it was a nice little job as there would be the chance to be involved in lots of new projects.
It is so close it won't really affect my PAYG car insurance and petrol will be minimal - it isn't more than a mile away.
Another step back to the real world for me

It sounds like exactly what you need to get your confidence back Keren. When you feel back to normal there's no reason you couldn't go for promotions etc, but it can be in your own time, and on your terms this time round."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
