Hello- I have been lurking here for months, and have only just signed up! :j
I work in Asda, so thought I would add to this post.
The easter eggs in asda that were £4.68 have been rolled back to £2. Buy them quick, as this won't last for long.

Also, On George next week there will be 20% off slippers (great for mother's day) and 20% off George collection clothing (the posh range on the gold coat hangers).
Also, George mark downs are normally done on a Tuesday or Wednesday as thats when the barcodes go live... so it is always worth having a look!

    Hope this helps...
If I hear of any more bargains I will let you know:T

That's great. Many thanks and welcome to the site. As you know you will find loads of useful info here. Take a look at some of the other forums too, especially the greenfingered one if you like your gardening.
  • Fridge packs of Coke are 2 for £5.00, (10 cans in a pack)
  • i work at asda did you no that if you get a leafet from another supermarket asda will match it so if tesco have got bogof on cheese and you can prove it with the leaflet they will match it great if you already shop there!!!:D
  • Fox's crinkle biscuits 1/2 covered in chocolate are only 39p in our Wakefield branch, and have been for a while, awesome value considering the usual prices one pays for their biscuits.

On a sour note. I cant stand Asda's Whooops! lable they stick on products they should have took off the shelf YESTERDAY. Whooops oh I've fallen off the shelf and given my pastry casing a good bashing? No. 'Whooops oh I've gone a bit mouldy and am going to give someone a lovely bout of diarrhea'

Today in Asda I bought Fosters beer, 4 x 440ml - 2 for £5. They were 2 for £6 last week and Carlsberg which is usually cheaper and poorer quality was 2 for £7.

They were also selling chest freezers the size of a washing machine for £89 whilst on line they were going for £99.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best
