quick question i hope yo can help me with. my mum was overcharged on a self scan but didnt notice, the cs said its down to her and no £2 card. is that right? many thanks
Depends if your Mum double scanned something herself, if she did this no the company have not overcharged her so she is not entitled to a gift card they should of course refund her for the item scanned in error. If she was charged a higher price that what was on the SEL yes she is entitled to a gift card.
Also if you purchase a whoops item and self scan it you need to make sure you scan the whoops label, as you scan the machine says out loud the price of the item and the very large screen shows you the price so no excuse if you make a mistake and scan the wrong barcode. The company will adjust the price for you but you should not expect them to compensate you for your error.

Is this thread going to be a long term thing on the board? I do my shopping with Asda online and have learned some good tricks from more experienced mse'ers but I think this one will be top of my list before shopping day-I had no idea! Thanks OP.0

I agree. I always check this thread before I place my Asda online shop.I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing
