I managed to get into a chat room and advance on freebies, then the games froze. So even for the people who are on its not working properly :rolleyes: people are getting error messages.

I dont know where everyone came from today. I know its usually v busy, with 3 or 4 rooms full, but today was mental all day

Now the message says that free bingo has been extended till 3am Friday, and for people to play on gala tv on sky. :rolleyes:

Sounds like a great bit of light hearted fun for a Thursday evening! Just about to register with Gala so I can play this week, just wondered, if you do win, how do you get the actual money? Also how do you get into one of the "clubs", the "Dreams, Country, Royal, Castle, Amazon or Seaside club" Thanks!

if you go to page 3 of this thread theres a great run through of how you buy tickets to play.
you can withdraw your winnings into a bank account or you can request a cheque which is what i did. didnt cost me anything to do so thats a plus and it also means u dont have to register a card, so u wont be tempted to play with real money!!

Thanks picklepick, I've had a quick look at the run through and it looks like it has all the info you need to get started. Will have a proper look tonight when I get home from work. I'd probably go for the cheque option too, keep it simple!

just a quick question do you all buy tickets throughout the day on thursdays free bingo or just on certain games?? do you buy from different club rooms ?

OMG, thought I would have a go on this and I really can't get my head round it!!!!! I've managed to get some free tickets, but do't know how to view them etc?!! OMG - can't believe I put some money in to this without really knowing what Iwas doing !!! Only a fiver lol, but I have no idea what I am doing!!! Played in a 10p game, but totally lost now!!!

I am not sure where this should go so I am hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction.

I joined Astro Bingo - registered under the name I am known by which is the shortened version of my Christian name and surname I then registered my Visa Electron card which is under my FULL name & paid in £10. No problem.
I played a few games & was lucky enough to win £50! Woohoo!!

I have requested my money & all of a sudden they have temporarily disabled my card want all sorts of ID from me to PROVE who I am because the first names are different! Now my question is - why was it OK to TAKE money from the card BUT it has only become a security risk now I have asked them to pay money back onto it? Surely if they have an issue with the names this should have been flagged when I PAID money into my account?

Is there anything I can quote back at them? They want passport/drivers licence/utility bills etc - all of which are in my FULL name. Surely the risk is when they TAKE the money not put it back on?!!

Any pointers would be appreciated! Oh & if you open an account with them make sure it's in your full name!
