For retro sweet boxes etc Woolworths 1/3 off pick a mix

Just to let you all know, woolworths currently have a 1/3 off their pick a mix price at mo, so ideal for anyone making sweet boxes and want to get a selection of different sweets.

Hope that helps someone

  • Its a shame they stopped doing those pic n mix cups small £1.99 large £2.99 as you could get loads packed in.... probs why woolies stopped doing them cos a full large cup weighs in about £5.

I know............I had to be careful the other day when I got some and its not easy trying to work it out. As it turned out it was only £2 so I was ok.
Much better value at the time was 3 packets for £1 (any three)........small packets but for retro boxes they were fine. Only went to the pick n mix because the cheap packets had sold out of some of what I wanted.
Just printed off the voucher from Voucher Board for free bag of mini eggs from Woolworths (thanks to eath mother) ..........took a bit of finding so I ended up going through the 'search' box.
Only valid till Feb 16th so if you want any don't leave it too late

  • They sell those 3 for £1 sweets in Co Op too... my sister (who is nearly 23) loves the milky bottles and strawberry laces! They are excellent value for making the sweet boxes.

They've got them in our co-op and OH says Somerfield have a load of cheap packets of sweets. Think I'll definitely do retro hamper for the lad I've got. He'll love it.

  • Yeah I would go for it mary43, Ooo I really fancy some sweets now... got some love hearts but really fancy some of those "mega sugar hit" 3 for a £1 sweets.
I got some of those £1 boxes in woolies to make retro sweet boxes but ended up using them to store my craft seqins and beads in...

Woolies also do some really cheap sweets in white bags, the actually taste ok.
