That cake is lovely, well done you!
I can't watch ITNG anymore, when its time for Igglepiggle to go, it makes me cry, back to his lonely boat in the darkIts so sad!

Rather than buy a themed table cloth - use wrapping paper on the table instead - usually cheaper. Use plain plates as the themed ones are so expensive.
At the end of the day - the children are only one - and aren't going to notice it all so much, as long as they have fun it's all they care about.
Have a good time.

Having read all your posts I was inspired to make a NG cake, as spendingmad suggested!
It's a Tesco generic celebration cake & the plastic figures were one of his presents (£10)!
I covered a chopping board with purple paper, iced round the cake some more (to cover the bits of the horrible shiny green board that you could see), turned some of the balloons round & iced his name on them, used stickers from the NG BBC magazine on the edge & iced the figures into place.
Silver Spoon All-In-One Royal Icing was indispensable! :T
It looks a bit busy but he LOVED it!
BTW the using wrapping paper on the party table idea was fab!0 -
I have got to make one of these for my friend's niece on Easter Sunday!
Can't wait to do it!
Can't see the above as I can't remember none of the details I used to register:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.
If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.
