Train Discount Codes?

I wanna discount code for trains as I have to travel up to Sheffield from London next month, but don't want to pay silly prices.

Thought about driving up, but petrol prices are so high!! :mad:

Have you tried https://www.megatrains.com ?
prices seem to range from £1 to £8 each way
between London St Pancras and Sheffield on the "normal" EastMidlands Trains
BUT much depends on your dates and some flexibility

...also have a look at the website https://www.nationalexpresseastcoast.com who although they do NOT themselves oeprate the route have tickets on offer on various dates in March from £7 e/w in Standard class to £14 e/w in FIRST if booked in advance. Admittedly some very expensive fares too if you cannot book in advance or do not want restrictions such as "no refund if cancelled". Worth a look - still some reasonable rates for much of March with Megatrains and above website .... and probably same on East Midlands website if you look at "singles" ratherthan "returns" since two singles are very often considerably cheaper than a return....
