Advice needed please! Tesco codes

Have just received my shop from Tesco. due to ill health have done shop on line in 3 stages but have been told that they will only take e codes off on initil spend. ie my original order was £28 but over the next 3 days I added to it until total was £74.40 I have been told by customer services that because I didn't qualify with original spend I am not entitled to use any vouchers. You have to do all your shop at once to use them. Has any one else had the same problem? I was trying to save by doing my shop online but now I can't even use the vouchers!

Any advice appreciated

You need to ensure that your first shop exceeds the voucher threshold. When you do amendments you can remove items and add new ones as required. Just remember to meet the minimum spend first time around, eg by adding expensive items such as alcohol to your basket, as they can be removed subsequently.
I too have learned this from experience.
