Hmm maybe it is?
Anyway..............
To keep a car and be allowed the associated running costs you normally have to be able to convince the OR that it is required for your "reasonable domestic needs".
This will mean that the OR will be looking to see if the car is essential rather than just convenient.
So you would have to start considering what reasons you may have that make a car essential for your day to day living.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Its not a perfect list by any means..but have a look HERE for an idea of what your allowed.
Like i said, its not perfect though and doesn't allow for your family size etc.
Maybe once you've had a look and decided the amounts you could post them on here and people will have a look through to see if theres any way of improving it.The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye.
