alterations on jumper?

have recently bought two caashmillion polo neck jumpers from m & s. they are basically soft feel but quite thin, well problem in the roll neck bit seems to double over and not in a flattering way. is there some alteration i could make to make sure it stayed turned over once and stay that way? could take it to menders i guess but not very money saving and bound to be something easy i can do to get around it that i have not thought of
