Just been browsing on here
http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/ really interesting site (american based), but someone called Dido mentioned that you can just put a few ingredients in google ~ http://www.researchbuzz.org/wp/tools/cookin-with-google/
so I thought that I would post it here ~ hope its some use for some of you.
I'm going to give it a try later with a few odd ingredients that I am not sure what to do with.
I did put a search on the forum for the address, but it came up with nothing, so hopefully its not been posted previously.

I'm vegetarian and just finished uni, as a 'gift' in my first year when I got to uni, my dad gave me loads of big packets of dried beans, lentils and spices. When I went shopping and got fresh veggies etc I'd put in a couple of things to google eg lentils onions courgettes and hit return then see what came out! I made some very interesting dishes this way and fed my housemates for a while on all my dried supplies so it was great!
**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D
