I wanna send flowers to America

A friend of mine has moved to the US to work for a few years, and she's absolutely miserable at the moment.
I was wondering how best to send her a care package, then wondered if maybe I could just order her some flowers from an American site and have them delivered to her American address? I thought that might be the quickest way to get something to her.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to which company to use? I realise this is a bit of a long shot, but she's just really unhappy and I want to do something. Can't afford to go visit her, but thought I could buy her a big bunch of flowers to put a smile on her face!
I have a UK MasterCard - do you think I'd have any problems getting them to accept payment from me?
Thanks for any advice.

Last year I sent an American friend some flowers for her birthday. I googled "florist" and her home town and searched through the results until I found a local florist shop. I rang them and ordered her a lovely arrangement of yellow roses (my friends favourite). They had no problem with my UK based Visa card and were *really* chuffed that I chose them to do the order, plus the owner and I both loved each others accents. It was a little more expensive than I expected but it was an independent and they hand delivered the flowers which was way more personal than getting them in the mail. My friend LOVED them btw, said they were excellent quality etc and couldnt believe I hadnt just gone with the "easy" online option.:A:A:A:A:A:A0
