Hi holley, what food are you feeding your dogs?we go to makro and stock up when dried food is on bogof, and we buy working dog(no VAT).The last we bought was £6.99 for two 17kg bags.We mix a tablespoon of tinned dog food in with the biscuits so they dont get bored.
We have also managed to cut our food bill from £500++ a month to £200 a month this is for 6 adults,2 dogs, cat, parrot and 3 ferrets. This is thanks to the oldstyle board and joining the grocery challenge.Good luck0 -

well done. I know how hard it is to post your first SOA and it seems like people are asking for every detail when you often dont know the answer. But it truely helps to give a clearer picture when armed with all the info.

Am going to try really hard to cut back on the food bill.0 -
Holley, hello. The food bill can be reduced quite drastically and you don't have to be living on baked beans either.
We spent a fortune on food but now we spend £150 a month, which is food for 2 people, 1 dog and 2 cats. This cost also includes toilettries, painkillers, etc.
Plan your meals for each day and stick to your shopping list. Use the oldstyle board for hints and tips and look out for the offers in the supermarket.
We eat very well and can even have a treat of a bar of chocolate once a week too! (my highlight)
Good luck with everything x*Official DMP Mutual Support Club Member No 147**Official DFW Nerd Club Member No 923*I have no idea what I'm talking about!0
