  • Spent £30 on a Wii remote!!!! I know, I know, it's not exactly essential, but we promised the kids at christmas we would buy another remote as OH uses the Wii as much as they do (he goes on the sports to try and get fitter, he is a tennis pro now!)

No other unbudgeted spends apart from that.

£1.10 on a magnum for my youngest son at the park and 30p for a copy of their nature trail leaflet that I really didn't need.

Got a summer jacket out of the wardrobe as it was so lovely today and found £15 in the pocket so that was rather nice.:j

  • £20 on a new game for my Xbox 360. Thats my whole weeks budget gone in one hit, but I haven't bought a new game in a while so needed something new to play. I made an extra £15 on ebay today that I didn't expect, and I have a few old games I don't play much that I will get rid of now so I can recoup the cost.
Thats how I justify it to myself, anyway!:D
