OP stated that she now gets 'free' phone calls. Maybe on her 3 for £30 package, this wasn't included, so she had phone calls on top of the £30. The extra 95p thus proves a saving maybe

I was with virgin media, and switched to sky (for sky+, telephone and internet) and then called virgin to beat there offer for the telephone and internet, I pay £17 a month and get broadband XL and telephone M, and they paid the charges sky set for cancelling the telephone and internet!
- Total Debt :£190,000 - Mortgage
- Owed: £9000 Virgin Atlantic American Express
- Owed: £9000 Tesco Clubcard Mastercard
- Owed: £5500 Barclaycard Platinum
- Owed: £1800 - Car Payments

Just pay for basic broadband, and get a DSL VOIP router for the phone and go with someone like Sipgate that will give you a local number, excellent call rates, and no monthly charge.
Then with TV either just go freeview or their virgins basic package with the broadband.
A lot of people tend do this way round as it also ceases the need to pay BT the landline charge, but then again it requires some technical knowledge to set.0
