Managed to one of these in Argos a week or so ago for £34.99.

You need to keep checking the stock at your local branch every day - they do pop up from time to time !!

Hello have back ordered it from powerplaydirect as they have quidco and a 2% discount (and are the same price as PCworld)

Seems like the rest of the Wii stuff it has a lot of supply problems.

I posted it in here because the other Wii stuff is in here, if a notification of when there is availability is needed for this item then this thread could be used for that purpose.

Got mine from PC world online (£32.99) and paid £12.99 for an extra nunchuk so £45.98 in all about 3 weeks ago. Delivery was free. Waited about 5 days for it although I thought it said it wasnt in stock at the time I ordered.

Was told around Christmas that Wii stock (in both HMV and Game) is normally delivered on Tuesdays. I think around Christmas it changed to a Thursday though as there were more deliveries (think some was being flown in rather than shipped in to cope with demand). Also that's the day my Mrs happened to pick a Wii up (no bundle) at Christmas so don't think we were being duped or anything!

Keep a look out at local stores on Tuesdays but dont quote me - it was only what I was told Christmas time - I don't work in stores so no insider knowledge!
