Hello
can anyone point me in the right direction to a fab remortgage deal for a low mortgage of £34k with no fees like a fixed one but willing to pay a slightly higher rate to avoid fees, my current bank Royal bank of Scotland fixed rate of 3.99% finishes at the end of this month and they want to charge me owith a fixed rate of 5.60 for 2 years or 5.89 for 5 unless i pay fees to lower it.
i have been looking at the current market and found a lot to fee free transfers
with lower rates but whos the best??
i have been with Royal bank since my mortgage started 5 years ago and they dont seem to want to look after me very well.
if anyone could help it would be much appriciated.

My financial advisor told me that Nationwide was best at the moment with rates as low as 4.39% over 2 years and then up from there. I am an exisiting customer too, so I will probably stick with them for 2 yrs and see if the interest rates go down.NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

Hi,
1st of all you need to check with RBS to find out what costs you will incure if you move your mortgage elsewhere (mortgage discharge fees).
This is in no way a recommendation as I have no knowledge of your requirements, however as you say, with a remortgage of £34,000, low fees is going to be a major factor. As mentioned by N9eav, Nationwide do have some good schemes which you may wish to investigate.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
