Hello never posted on here but really hope one of you guys can help me. My partner is on a 40hr a week contract at work which he does slightly over most weeks away (ususally to cover someone who has phoned in sick at the last minute). they have a "know your rights line" 0870 600 4882

It does sound to me like they are overstepping the mark, but it may not actually be unlawful

If he gets some help from the helpline he should join the union and get others to do the same
