Thanks Sparks, that's brilliant. I couldn't find it anywhere.

My local BK is included, and I believe they ARE a franchise. I've tried to use other promotional offers there in the past and was told I couldn't because they were a franchise and weren't participating.

Victoria Station, London, also seems to be included, and I would have thought they were one of those who wouldn't let you use it.

    IN-teresting...

    Cheers! :)

Basically, ALL BK's (and McD's, KFC's and Subways, Starbucks and all these other parasitic grief-holes) are franchises. Therefore each individual branch can opt in or out of pretty much any promotion.

Having said this, they would have to adhere to certain rules to keep the franchise. It seems that BK's at 'premium' locations (such as notoriously high-cost motorway service areas) can utilise a 'premium' pricing structure. Or, to put it another way, rip folk off something chronic. McDonalds don't seem to (an observation, not a defence of this nasty corporation).

They're all best avoided in my opinion. There are so many places to get much better, healthier, environmentally and ethically sound food and drinks, at competitive prices, these days. But I understand the pressure parents must be under, particularly with the massive advertising budgets these revolting mega-glomerates can afford.

    JUST SAY NO, FOLKS.

PS : Ignore what it says below today, and let me know if any of the above is incorrect.
If I've made a grammatical error and you're pointing it out, I'd just like to say :T "Thanks" in advance. You big person, you ;)

    Hi all,
Went to Burger King today after cinema visit. They had a poster in the window saying they accepted the offer from Wheat Crunchies. I was surprised to find the burgers are £2.80 each, however! I suppose it's not too bad on BOGOF, but I didn't realise they cost this much in the first place.
I actually took my voucher back because McDonalds were handing out vouchers for special offer on a new sandwich / roll thing - £2 for the roll, a drink (I had evian water) and salad or fries.
