Cheapest Anti-wrinkle cream WHICH WORKS?!?

Hi All,
Got a big shock when I looked closely in the mirror yesterday - I have loads of little wrinkles around my eyes and I am starting to look really old & haggard - OMG!
I was ill & had a lot of stress over Xmas/NewYear, which probably contributed to most of it. I have always been lucky with good skin, even though it is quite sensitive, so I've looked after it and don't use loads of products on it, but now I have bags under my eyes, spots, and those dreaded wrinkles!
What cheap remedies can you recommend? Is there a cheap anti-wrinkle cream which will work (but not too greasy that it will aggravate the spots....) but also suitable for sensitive skin? I usually like L'Oreal & Boots products, but am tempted to try the Lidl / Aldi versions for economy
I'd love to go have a course of facials or something, but that is out of my price range at the mo'....so how can I do cheaply (& quickly!) at home?

There was a survey done last week in one of the papers (cant remember which!) that showed Aldis' own anti wrinkle cream has exactlly the same ingrediants as some of the 'high end' face creams... The Aldi one is less than £2.
Needless to say, I bought a tenners worth! You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

There is an anti-wrinkle at Poundland called something like NewAge Ginseng cream.
It's very good .0 -
Drink plenty of water!0

Liz Earle is not cheap, but its not expensive either & very MSE because it works.0

I'm trying Aldi's face cream and up to now seems fine; can't vouch for it tho', haven't used it for a decent period of time to notice any effects. Still worth a try tho'.0

Hi Fairyelephant
Thats just happened to me to recently and I am really upset. I am 45 and have always been told I could easily pass for 10 years younger until a few weeks ago.
I have developed lots of lines under my eyes, and I now use Protect and Perfect and drink lots of water. Anybody use this and what else do u recommend for under eye lines?
Many thanks

The range from Lidl is very cheap and very good, just as effective as much more expensive creams and gentle on sensitive skin.0

Best thing for your skin....(and purse).......drink plenty and get enough sleep. If you really want some type of cream then the cheapest, such as Lidls or Avons Rich Face Cream are just as good as the £40 a bottle ones!0

Tescos own brand Skin Wisdom range might be worth a look. They do a moisturizing face mask in a large tube that I have had for several years-very Moneysaving, its very hydrating.0

yup, drink lots of water, eat plenty of fruit, use moisturiser everyday with a sun screen(i use Olay complete care as it has SPF 15 and is a light fluid that sinks in) and avoid the sun/sun beds.0
