Hi Holley
Well done for posting as the first step is always hard but hopefully it’s a step closer to been eventually debt free.
You are right not to look at consolidation loans as you are only increasing your total debt by adding on more interest. It also can lead to the temptation of re spending on your otherwise cleared credit cards worsening your situation.
If you know you are in trouble destroy your cards and return them to your provider to get rid of the temptation to spend on them.
Once you have posted your SOA and you have been advised on what areas to look at, try the online advice facility called Debt Remedy. Here you can input your financial statement and be provided with advice on the best way to deal with your situation. Hopefully it can point you in the right direction to proceed in.
Good luck

Hello!!
How is the SOA coming along? it would be a great help if you could post one!
I owed 19,000 - so not far off what you owe, and I am now debt free & travelling, so it can be done!
