quite a bit of verbal intervention as opposed automated process - that is why if you put a notice of correction, it should be flagged up by the lenders and passed to someone to look at manually rather than the normal automated process
The second broker said the I passed the credit check with Natwest(I did not see any evidance), but the underwriters declined it(for bad credit history)? was this not manual/verbal intervention?

I think it is possible, but I think you should let an adviser who has got good lender contacts, take over for you.

A lot of the time, it is down to how your case is put across that will depend on whether you will be accepted or not

I agree, all i would like is to "put across" my case to a lender/broker but so far i have not had that oportunity, its the old "computer says no" or "call center staff say no".

Is there an understanding lender out there?

There may well be, but I couldn't say either way as I know nothing about your circumstances, apart from the few posts above, which are nowhere near the kind of information needed on which to base any pointers

What herbie is saying is that you need a broker who has a strong relationship with a lender or possibly access to an underwriter direct.

The fact that future declined on 5% tells me that you will not be getting this mortgage off your own back and may even be hard work for someone with the contacts.

Do what herbie said - get your notice on there, it doesn't matter what you tell the bank - untils its showing, it will not be treated as under dispute.

Then go and find a broker who will actually want to work for their money.

So you don't want to try and salvage the purchase by finding another broker?
