cross training shoes - which ones are good?

hi i need a new pair of trainers, someone said cross trainers are good for the stuff i do, squash, running, gym, aerobics etc. i will spend about £100 on them but not sure which make or anything.

Any ideas?

  • If you wear them for squash then they will have to be non-marking soles, so you won't find any cross trainers that fit the bill. Also squash shoes are completely different (a lot flatter) to running shoes.

    With £100 you could buy several pairs of trainers.

  • get ones that fit - may sound a bit obvious different shoes suit different feet so what might be good for me would be rubbish for you. Go to a decent sports shop (not jjb and the likes) where the staff know what they are on about and will assess your gait and help you get a proper fit.
