Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • I would love to come, did look at how long it would take me and as it will probably take me about 6-7 hours I think I'll have to decline on this occasion!! Shame though, have a great time!! I had a lovely time when I went to an OS meet last!!

Oooooh you've seen my embarassingly greasy oven-glove then - time for a new one (dark coloured this time, methinks)! To match my dark grey crazy-paving style cushionfloor (covering my beautiful pale ivory floortiles that were a VERY drastic choice :(!)

I work full-time as well, mhe. I'm hoping that skintscotslass can make it for a meet on a sat or sun. There's a huge Asda/WalMart store in Huyton or maybe even Tesco, Prescot - both of them have somewhere for coffee/lunch. Failing that, there's always the local Aldi/Lidl which are both about mid-way between ssl's bf's house and mine lol! They're far more MSE/OS than Mr T's but then again they don't do a nice sit-down area with coffee and yummy sandwiches  .

Not that keen on our Asda one either - though the coffee is now much improved from before it's refurb! But we now have a Costa Coffee in our shopping centre - and that is really good. But I'm sure that we can come up with somewhere else if anybody else is up for a meet.

Skintscotslass will let me know in advance when she's around the Huyton/Liverpool area and we post the date/venue then. Anybody in the vicinity will be most welcome to join us  .

What about Starbucks at Borders at Howley Retail park one evening? It's open late. Not exactly OS, but at least you can get a good browse and read all their books and mags for free! Located OK for anyone that wants to come from Manchester as well! OMG, I can see me organising this!
