hi,was wondering if anyone can help answer my question? my husband has a number of people he owes money to (he is currently paying them off )slowly..
as we have only recently got married and the debts have nothing to do with me(they occured before we met)will this affect my credit rating? as we are now at same address?cos i havent changed my bank details,credit card details etc,they are still at my parents address,anyone have any advice.

His debt will only affect your credit rating if you have anything in join names such as a joint bank account or a joint loan. Check your credit files. They will say if there is any 'associations' on your file that would be considered when creditors search your files.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
