I think I've been very silly and stupid

When it asked for special initials for test mail, I stupidly put my First name initial and Middle name initial. Sometimes mail comes to me like this that isnt in the survey for example bank statements..............

Now I'm wondering how to recognise my test mail, if I dont have a R number included

Am I to contact Kantar and asked for my test initials to be changed?

Don't worry, you're not the first to do this! I did it too (not knowing the significance of the initials at the time and just ignored the warning on the site). Just email Kantar and they'll change them for you but it'll take a week or two before you notice the change. :D

Just a quick question. I have been doing this for ages so not a beginner but today has got me wondering. I received 3 catalogues from Damart ( very warm up here today;) ) They have special initials on them so have logged them in as my mail. But they don't have an R number so got a special number to put a yellow label with number on each. But each time that has happened before they had a 90 number and this time they don't. Is someone sending me mail not in the survey with my initials on. It must cost the survey folk a fortune in the return envelope to get these back. Will treat it like all the rest this time and post it back but I wonder if someone has been selling the addresses to muck up the survey.

Surprise, surprise, I have just received raffle tickets to sell for the Scottish National Party addressed to my survey name and initials.

I doubt the information has come from Kantar, but could it be that one of the companies involved in the surveys has been collection/got a hold of some of the participants addresses and started selling them on?

I just placed them all in their own post paid envelope along with a snotty note to take my name off their database.. Time to email Kantar as well.

    Hiya
don't know if this will help you but with my test items they do not have the last part of my address on, the county council part, only the area so that may help you recognise them. :D

  • Yes Sarah. I'm doing my 4th one this year at the mo.
    Its about mis-deliveries.
Dead easy to do, although it looks complicated when it first comes through.
You simply write down how many items of post you receive each day and how many are not for the occupant or sent to the wrong address.

You get paid in 'love 2 shop' vouchers, not stamps. They are accepted at loads of places such as woolworths/wilkinsons/h samuels/BHS/HMV/homebase/new look etc etc.
    Veni, Vidi, Visa. I came, I saw, I shopped:rolleyes:

Oooh I want one of those mis delivery surveys as that is one of the reasons I was prompted to sign up to do this!!!! quite often we have other peoples mail as the posties can't be bothered to go round the back to post it to the house on it's own (which was built onto the back of our garage so we almost have the same number - long story) the other day the lady that lives there came over as she had some of our post which was my OH's payslip (quite obviously a payslip aswell, good job that we get on!)!!! I have to say some of the postmen are lovely and will knock just to double check it's not actually for us! Plus some days we don't have post and then the next day we will have absolutley stacks. ( I do competitions and get a bit obsessed waiting for the postie to see if I have any prizes through, so I usually know when we havn't even had a postman down our road!!)

Is it obvious when you log on and you have the message??? I soooo need to do one of these!!!
  • ive just had an email inviting me back onto it as previously was signed up and taken off as they said they had enough people in my area. so its worth trying to sign up again if people had previously been turned down as they are obviously recruiting again.
  • I have soooo fell out with Kantar! Today I received a bar of chocolate with a test item. Now I have to put it into the returns envelope without even a bite :(

    so cruel....
Smile ! And pass it on..
