need help :(

dont normally post on here but my little brother has got me compleatly stumped and was looking for a bit of advice.

hes 19 years old and has managed to get himself into debt with his bank totalling £900 (they kept giving him bigger overdrafts even though they knew he had no job or money coming in)
i suggested that he gets the bank to freeze that account and set up a normal one and pay the debt off month by month, he cant really go to anouther branch to open an account cause he has no form of ID. he has also moved but his nearest branch is in scotland (hes now in belfast) and they expect him to hand in a form to change address.

(sorry if this is a bit confusing) so now im compleatly stumped because i just dont know how to help him and im now stuck for ideas,

can anyone help or suggest please

I would have thought you could post a change of address form, check the banks website you should find the info there.

Get him on the electoral register and get an electoral identity card and he can use that to open another account.

Other than that I don't know what to suggest. Just wish I had a big sis to look out for me when I was his age, mightn't have got to where I am now!

    Good luck.
Debt at highest May 04 - £65,639.22 - Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 04 & now self managed DMP
Debt now 20th December 2015 £31677.13 Paid Off to date £33962.09 - just not going quickly enough!

Debt free date July 2024! I don't think so, it'll be going quicker than that!!!

clapton yes he has an income now but didnt at the time he earns about an average of £600 p/m

jules he did do a change of address form but they say his signiture didnt match for some reason and that he has to go into the bank.

have tried to get him on the electoral roll but they say he has to have proof of address from the last 3 months and because he only moved here 3 weeks ago he cant provide it.
