Does anyone know where i would get a drying rack from please? I am after a drying rack that would go over a bath and is made of a kind of mesh that you lay our jumpers on that have washing instructions on them that say no spinning etc etc and if you hang them on the line to drip dry then they go all out of shape.
Thanks in advance

Those type of ones are great for sweaters.

Before getting married (when I could freely buy nice expensive things that needed handwashing/no spinning) my sisters and myself used to squeeze as much water out of sweaters as possible. I don't mean 'wring' I just mean squeeze without twisting. Then we would get a large towel, stick it under your chin and place the sweater against it. Then arrange the sweater neatly against the towel and fold the sides of the towel towards the middle of the garment (so the garment was encased in the towel). The next step was to firmly roll the whole thing up, still gently squeezing. That would be left for as long as possible (couple of hours at least) so that the majority of the water was absorbed by the towel (it's the weight of the water that stretches stuff). After that we would hang the sweater on the airer (we had the ceiling pulley type in those days) and have to wring out the towel and try to get that dried as well. Very long and laborious rigmarole - but it worked for us at the time. Can't say that mother was very happy about all the wet towels though  .0
