Some months ago I contacted payplan who phoned me back and tried to go through a soa with them. Didn't like their approach and felt they were a bit judgmental and pushy.
Last month contact cccs via the web, filled in their online thingy which came up with 2 options - dmp or iva. Plumped for the dmp which starts in March and we should be debt free in 7 years. Liked the whole anonimity of cccs but when i have needed advice been brilliant help at the end of the phone. Would definately recommend cccs personally.0 -
I have been with Payplan since July 05 and so far they have been brilliant.
I was made redundant 2 months after I started my DMP and I really panicked but when I called them they were really reassuring. Since then I have become self employed and have kept the same deal and the same repayments as it was easier that re-negotiating with all my creditors with a fairly irregular income (my request).
They have always been very supportive and, from the beginning dealt with everything as I didn't want to talk to my creditors (Yeah... chicken... I know
)
I can also check my debt level and individual monthly repayments online which can be quite motivating.2009: Headphones, Nintendo DSi , Baking Kit

I understand that Payplan won't take you on unless you can afford £100 per month across all your creditors.
CCCS minimum is £5 per creditor per month.
That might dictate where you go.0
