Just thought I,d share my bad experience with asprin. Had cold last week (usually take paracetamol), but we had asprin in the house so for four days I was taking them , but not eating to much ( i know now dont I), until saturday night when my body had had enough and just gave in Sick everywhere couldnt stand. My stomach had been bleeding caused by asprin and not taking food with them,. Back home now too tiered to comp (anemic on iron tabs) just thought id read threads and share experience (never had any probs with paraaceamols). So eat before asprins or ibrufin, I just didnt think.
Bed now , birthday bbq tomorrrow, daughter cooking bless her!!

Thanks went in Sat night came out yesterday evening, drained, Ireally didnt know aspring were that bad withought food, surreal being in hospital 1st time

Wow! Sounds rather horrific chris08 - I really hope you're feeling better now. Definitely a cautionary tale - very scary stuff!

On another note, Ginjim I'm with the beer tent idea - could you set it up though please as I'm too 'ickle to reach the top bits!!

chris08 hope you better soon asprin tho is not ment for peeps with astma diabetes (i cant spell) blood clots and ulsers i cant take any over the counter painkillers as ive got the above along with other bits and peices yes im fallin apart but there you go (ive lost my son to sids then my ex hubby lost his son to sids aswell (my sons brother) sorry im rambling it probly due to Devons 3rd birthday tommorrow
