I have a guy who has paid me 45 euro's for an item, I have only ever received GBP's before. I work out the value is more than he owe's me in GBP when I work it out, 45 Euro's is £30.80 when converted when in fact his final sale price was £26.47.
If I accept the payment how would paypal pay the money into my bank if its in Euro's?
Thanks for any advice.

Paypal will show the Euro balance differently to your sterling balance and will impose the 25p withdrawal charge on it if you want to withdraw it to your bank account as it is under £50. However, apart from that the transaction itself works exactly the same as a uk transaction, when you choose to withdraw the money paypal will convert it to sterling at their own rate that day and pay the sterling into your bank account.
I have a lot of overseas payments into my paypal account but always insist on receiving payment in sterling to avoid the withdrawal charge. It is no more difficult for the buyer to pay you in sterling, he just has to change the currency and his account will be debited in Euros and yours will be credited in sterling.
If you want you can refund his payment and ask him to repay in sterling.

Thanks Soo.
Well I accepted it and it gave me the option to convert it to £30.22 and then add it to my GBP balance which it now has done.
I am happy because his final bill was only around £26.50 anyway, so it does me!0
