Went to Somerfield in the Walworth Rd (Camberwell) to see if they still had the medion portable dvd player,but alas no (should have got it in the week when I saw them) I stumbled across this little, number looks fun for the price and there is no mixes to buy.It includes some recipes to try out.

Just checked the Breville UK site and it actually states no manual, how strange.

Result!! Thanks for that. They are sending me an instruction booklet, although I am keeping my fingers firmly crossed as I mailed them four times- no response, and they have said before that it is in the post........lol

Is this one where you have to stick the bowl in the freezer for a time before making the ice cream, or does it do the freezing itself?

Just looked at the product description on Argos' website ,looks like you have to put the bowl in the freezer overnight!

it's the bowl in freezer type - from the argos description:
Fast freezing double insulated canister - simply place in freezer the day before.

Thanks. I dont think that we would be able to find freezer space for this on a regular basis, so we will give this one a miss.
