Hi,
I'm looking for some help and hope someone will have the answer. I have applied for a personal loan online and was rejected so I thought I would go into my bank and try as I have never missed any payments on any debts that i have had. Unbelievably I was rejected at my bank also. The guy at the bank informed me that someone in my house owes money??I live in the house with my daughter and we have a joint mortgage. We have checked our credit files with Experian and both have come back clean?? How can I check if there is someone else that may have had bad credit before still registered to this address. Please someone help

Houses shouldn't have bad credit only people who reside in them see this thread
legal action!
If you get turned down for credit it would be reflected on your credit file although I would of thought if it was only the once it shouldn't make much difference0 -
I forgot to say perhaps the bank used a different credit reference company. I remember Experian saying on BBC working lunch the other week that if you want a comprehensive check you need to do more than one credit check from different company
Thsi might help you about credit ratings
