Just wanted to share my :j moment...
We have several teflon sheets, and use them on every baking tray.
I was making pizzas and biscuits this weekend, and normally roll & cut out on a floured worktop. Then there is the horrid sticky mess to clear up afterwards.
OH was busy destroying/fixing the kitchen, so I was trying to roll out biscuits on the living room coffee table, and did it straight on the teflon sheet, then lifted it onto the baking tray afterwards.
No mess, & no sticking. It was brilliant.
Can't think why I never thought of it before.

Where do you buy your teflon sheets from?

These are great - and virtually indestructable - I do the same to avoid having to scrape bread dough off the worktops. I bought mine in Lidl when they had the baking stuff in one week.
I also bake bread rolls in a silicon muffin tin, they just pop out individually.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
I'm normally a lurker, but had to reply to this one! I've got a teflon sheet as well, bought mine last June and it's brilliant!! Got mine from Home Bargains (where i work hehe!)0

My biggest revelation regarding teflon sheets is that they can be used in a grilling machine! You even get the dark stripes on the food, but no burnt bits on the plates.

ooh - I was just about to try that when I realise I have nothing to grill. Not even bread. Need to shop but can't get out as baby is still contagious.
Hmmm, now I am wondering what else I can use them for? :T0 -
I use teflon sheets too and you can cut them to fit your baking tins so they don't need to be greased. I also use one to line my grill pan which makes it easier to clean. They can also go in the dishwasher!0
