Tesco Club Card points?!?!

Where do i spend them? got £41.50 to spend and dont know where to start, looked at threads here but whats the best solution. do i go for BA miles?

That is £166 if you convert them to deals.

thanks, think i'm going to convert them to BA miles? but i want to get the most from them. Definately wont be spending them instore!

Hi

I converted mine from last quarter to BA Miles. 9000 miles was enough to get me from Aberdeen-London-Nice, had to pay tax of £107 (normal flight cost £202).

I had to use £37.50 of Clubcard vouchers, they were put onto my BA account within 2 days.

I worked out that Airmiles does not seem to offer the best value for tesco vouchers, using the loyalty maximiser on MSE, I found out that the value in Airmiles is not 4 times the value of Tesco vouchers. For instance to travel London-Paris return, I worked out that the Eurostar clubcard deal is much more good value for money than converting the vouchers into Airmiles.

Yeah, £2.50 of vouchers gets you 600 BA Miles (Not Airmiles) so for £37.50 I got 9000 miles.

surely the distance from Aberdeen to Nice isn't 4500 miles - you could be in the centre of the US for this distance as the crow flies! Just goes to show what a rip off "air miles" or "ba air miles" is. At that rate, london to Sydney would be as far as the moon!

I have to say I'm really confused about Air Miles, and wouldn't mind some advice. Like a good money saver I've been saving my Tesco vouchers for a few years, and as we were due to visit family in Cape Town, decided to cash them in for Air Miles to partially cover the flights. However just before time to book, they changed their policy that you now have to fully cover your flight with Air Miles - grrrr. So I thought I'd use them for flights to S Europe later in the summer, but there are no air miles flights available for when we want to go according to my searches. So I have now tried for a weekend away in Brussels, but still no air miles flights. Have I just wasted a few years worth of Tesco vouchers?? Has anyone had more luck with this than me. Otherwise, any idea if Air Miles would refund my Tesco Vouchers so I can use them for a deal that actually works? Thanks for any advice guys!
