Hi all,

I am determined to sort out my money situation and I think one thing that will really help is a spending diary.

I am going to post it on here and any thoughts you may have about unnecessary expenditure please feel free to add.

Garage on way to work (fags, red bull, milk for work) £7.85
Snack from vending machine at work 50p

TOTAL = £18.35

Garage on way to work (de-icer, red bull) £3.34

Red bull! You could buy a jar of coffee for the same price as one can and get much more cafeine for your money! lol

yeah i know - i drink far too much of the stuff too!! will be cutting that out. definitely an unnecessary spend.

Hiya.

Could you post a SOA? (you may have done already!) You may be able to save money on a monthly basis as well as what you spend on a day to day basis.

From your diary - looks like you need to cut down the trips to the garage! Red bull and cigarettes should do really - maybe try and only do a big shop once a week to avoid the little shops that usually add up.

Def post a SOA though if you can. Well done on keeping the diary - its quite amazing when you see everything written down isnt it? xx
