Starting a pension *HELP*

Both me and hubby are 28 and hubby is a sub-contractor and I am a supply teacher so have no pensions through our jobs. We want to start a pension but don't know where to begin we've heard that we should not bother and just open a savings account. We are very confused but want to get this sorted asap. Anyone advise please?

Get an IFA out to see you. https://www.unbiased.co.uk and search by postcode.
It will be hard for us here to say what is best as we dont know your circumstances, tax positions, aims, knowledge, investment experience, affordability plus more so we couldnt say if a stocks and shares ISA, Stakeholder, Personal pension, fund supermarket pension or SIPP is the best option.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
