Firstly, showing a grasp of basic literacy will help. Secondly, it's photography and I would expect that what's on a CV is partially irrelevant for this but, apart from photography and art qualifications/experience, you need to highlight skills such as independent problem solving and a good self motivated work ethos.

I think that sending them a strong portfolio of a good range of photos would be more important and you'll probably need to cover a fair range of stuff.

There are a few free services available to help you write a CV - your local jobcentre should be able to help.

  • Hi

I have quite a bit of experience in writing and editing CVs. If you want to PM me and send me a copy (leave out all sensitive info such as address, name etc) I'll be happy to have a look at it for you.
And don't forget, content is so much more impotant than "clever" language unless the job involves report writing etc.

    thank you

that is a good idea, to show a portfolio of what i do. I have my own website already, so can redirect them to that, as that has my artwork on it.

I have 5 years photography experience, both commercialy and personally. Ive worked with big companies including BBC and sky. But it is hard to get anywhere in this industry, as people want something for nothing. Surely if you do a job you deserve to be paid for it.

    thanks for ya help
