Beating Myself Up Today

Well folks I have beaten myself up today. Why? Read on...
I bought a Car on HP via Black Horse in April 2006. I was carried along with the sway so much I must have been asleep.
The garage told me of the 2 year warranty that came with it but I completely missed the point I was about to pay £800 plus interest for it for the next 5 years.
I asked for NO PPI but they said it has come with it anyway as a Freebie from BH so I thought Oh Well OK. I later found out that I had been charged £600 plus interest for 60 months for it so I cancelled it.
I have just read the agreement and it shows me paying around £2000 for the above over the course of loan. I cannot believe I was so thick I didnt see it coming and signed for it. I am so cross with myself and yet so upset I could not have detected the lunacy of it at the time. Oh God I am so so so Stupid.
This site has been a wake up call for me and my financs and I am gradually sorting things out but will be going in 10 years time If I havent killed myself with the worry before that.
Mind you...on the positive side....I have now paid over a third and they have to go to court to re-posess it...and the agreement says if they take it back then I will be entitled to a full refund of all I have paid....over £3500...so I think the car is safe in my control now .... LOL!

Hi Kevster,
hindsight is a great thing isn't it?
At least you've learnt from it and won't fall into THAT man trap again!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Too right Lind....my stupid self Ego must have taken over me....I am so annoyed with me!MBNA are a joke.

If I'd had the hindsight I have now, there wouldn't have been £36,000 of debt to clear!
I've done it though, down to my last £420 and it feels f**king great!
You can do it too.
