In my inherited kitchen I have a bin that is on the kitchen door under the sink, as I open the drawer the bin lid lifts. Its not huge but I prefer it to a visible bin in the kitchen. My son wants one for his flat, has anyone ever seen these in B&Q or similar?

Had a leaflet from Lakeland the other day with this on, don't know if it is what you mean.

This is probably the bin you are talking about at the above web site0 -
I swear by my Ikea bin (although you have to open the lid yourself!). Latest model is white and I don't remember the exact price but hugely cheaper than others on here. You can wash it outeasily or line with carrier bags. It's worth asking someone to get you one or going yourself to nearest branch. But beware while things are really good value it's so easy to spend money there!0

Before my Ikea bin I had one from B&Q that was just a frame and a lid that took carrier bags but they stopped making them. However, a Betterware catalogue has just been delivered and they have them in there for under a fiver!0

Or this one from Argos

Expensive at £19.99 but very sturdy.
Only problem with these that take supermarket carrier bags is that pretty soon the bags will be as rare as rocking horse droppings and guess who recently bought one of these bins :rotfl:0 -
