  • Evening all

Big hugs, Jill, you need them honey, your plate's full and overflowing at the moment, but it will get better. Feel free to rant and rave on here (I did!:rotfl:and they haven't kicked me out yet) It really helps to keep things in perspective if you can sound off about it. Someone (he was a lovely Danish gentleman) once said to my mother when she was being treated for depression "Now isn't always!" You are doing one of the most important jobs in the world - raising children to be the future! Dont; be too harsh on yourself. You may be a wonderful mother, but you're not Superwoman. Make sure you take a break when you can! I'd definitely be tempted to "work to rule" and just do yours and kiddies stuff for a week. And if you can't stand his mess, there's always black bags!

Welcome, Shelvis, you'll love it on here. Everyone's so friendly (I've only been on a few weeks myself) and it's so motivating.

Hasty visit - DS is stressing because he believes friend that came to visit 2 weeks ago for Sunday dinner (whose parents don;t accept her sexuality, illness etc) has told him she was abused by her stepgrandfather and others, and has said she's going to end it! I feel awful as I've refused to drive him to Cardiff to check, but where do I stop my responsibilities to other people? Am I being awful?
