how to make extra cash?

Hi i started work in a shop part time so i was entitled to claim job seekers allowance, however due to some staff going on the sick and some handing their notice in i was getting more hours so i stopped the claim.
i got my new rota for the next four weeks and my hours have been dropped down again to less than 16 (minimum 10 for one week) they wont offer me stable hours, last week i did 50 hours sunday to sunday and the jobcentre have advised me not to try for a new claim unless they can offer me stable hours!

so im wondering what would be the best way to make extra cash?
would catalouges be anygood? like betterware or kleeneazy?

can anybody give me some ideas please?
