Is there any way to stop receiving the Next Directory hard copy. They charge me nearly £4 for it and I never read it. I always just browse the internet. The last 2 have stayed in their wrappers!!!
They seem so heavy and wasteful.
Can I help save the environment and save the charge too?

Phone them up ask for a refund because you didn't ask for it and ask them not to send any more.Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves0

I dont want to cancel my account though. Just seems such a waste to send those massive direcories out0

you can call them up and request them not to deliver future deliveries, thats what we do and they will still let you keep the account0

Just phone them or email and ask that they dont send. We only view online and we still use our account

i am pretty sure they credit you with the cost of the catalogue (£3.75?) when you place an order from it.0

I phoned them up only the other day after receiving my statement. I told them I had a free delivery code which I couldn't enter (as it was the xmas sale & there wasn't an option to enter it) and also I received a catalogue which I didn't order. The operator asked me if I wanted to stop the catalogues (which I said yes) she then proceeded to tell me that were deducting the cost of the catalogue and the delivery charges - £7.00 saving fab!0

Seems like I'm not the only one who thinks these catalogues are COMPLETELY unnecessary and wasteful. They've just added £3.75 to my account, so I told them that I didn't need these catalogues and I most certainly didn't ask for them either. Luckily they readily agreed to cancel and refund. This should be opt-in not opt-out! Ridiculous really! I'm surprised that they get away with this. I cringe every time I imagine these HUGE catalogues in a hole on a landfill site - uponened and unused. I wonder if we could get this on Watchdog or something. I bet a lot of people don't even realise that they're being charged for these.0

I'm glad this was posted as I have thought it was a waste having the directory delivered when it never even gets opened here. Will be phoning them in the morning.0
