Now 20% off for web orders, so I've just got two more pairs for £8 each.
My son is 11 and takes size 8 so has huge feet!Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -
He's not alone, my son is 11 and is in size 9 adult.

Wish I'd found this site before, even buying from our local sports discount store cost us £60 for a pair of trainers and a pair of football boots.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Well I phoned on my order from 17th July and they told me everything was out of stock!! Apparently a letter has been sent to me which I haven't received. I have placed another order today with the 20% off, so fingers crossed I get my order this time!

Received second order today - boots and astro turfs ordered; two pairs of boots received.
I phoned and the operator said "post them back to us and we'll send you what you ordered". I asked him to confirm that the ordered astro turfs were in stock and he said yes they would be. I asked him how he knew that as I hadn't told him which ones they were. He said they had just received a large delivery and so they would be in. On insisting he check, he asked for the stock code which isn't on the invoice. He insisted it was but it isn't. He eventually came back and said the astro turfs weren't in stock and that was why I was sent two pairs of boots. "Why would I want to pairs of boots in different sizes?", I asked. He of course couldn't answer that.
I didn't resolve the situation over the phone so will email them. It seems silly to pay £4 in postage for one pair of boots, even if they are reduced.
I also get very frustrated when people tell you things that aren't true, just to get rid of you!Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

Well I received my 2nd order today....but only 1 pair arrived and I ordered 3. No explanation, no email stating out of stock.....not very impressed!

All the £5 trainers and football boots seem to be £4 now.

I'm sorry to say that we've been conned by this outfit. I ordered UK Junior Size 5 football boots for my son. The boots arrived (manufactured in Slovakia), labelled as UK Size 5 but were clearly only UK Junior size 4 - i.e. the same size as my son's existing boots. I immediately called the company only to be told by an extremely rude 'duty supervisor' that they would refund only the cost of the boots but not the postage - which I would have to end up paying twice for - once for them to ship the boots to me and then again for me to ship the boots back to them, making the postage more than twice more expensive than the boots themselves - leaving me out of pocket and with no goods.
She then went on to 'explain' that sizes can vary - but by a whole size ?!!! And she also pointed out that as they were a mail order company, they could not guarantee correct sizes. She then refused to listen to me - I had to hang up in the end.
I have contacted my credit card company and the Advertising Standards Authority in order to resolve this matter.:coffee:
