Just thinking about combining all our knowledge to take advantage of opening offers etc. Anyone know which shops do good offers? Is it worth signing up for e-mails? Etc etc

I'm glad you mentioned John Lewis cos I thought they were going in there too but when I drove past I saw House of Fraser on it instead....it appears they are the anchor tenant NOT John Lewis

Thanks belfastgirl, my brain has turned to mush today. I'll remove that bit from my post to stop confusion. Btw, been looking at the website for victoria square - looks fab! I hadn't realised there was going to be a Odeon cinema - maybe now we'll be able to get free tickets?

I see the latest news article on the site says (somewhat vaguely)

Victoria Square will open in March 2008 so maybe the date is slipping ?

It opens on the 6th of march. I know because I was at a health and beauty show at the kings hall on saturday and one of the House of Fraser girls was taking bookings for free makeovers on the 6th 7th and 8th. I think they were all booked out in about 2 hours!

I did think the same thing too though so I wonder was this the plan at some stage and then it changed? Seems weird we both made the same mistake
