HI, I have an old Jones Z-680 machine but am missing the manual. Any ideas on where I could find one?

Thanks, Dawn

Dawn - don't know how old your 680 is, but my Jones Model K is 1960s (£30.15s.0d) and the leaflet also shows a Model 670 (£59.17.0d). The address says Jones Sewing Machine Co Ltd, Audenshaw, Nr Manchester (Tel Ashton-under-Lyne 2274-5-6 Telex 66495). Also have info as follows:

In 1859 Wm Jones began making sewing machines – going into partnership with Thos Chadwick in 1860. They were known as Chadwick & Jones and manufactured sewing machines at Ashton-under-Lyne. Their partnership lasted until 1864 when Chadwick joined Bradbury & Co. In 1869 Jones opened a factory in Guide Bridge, Nr Manchester; becoming incorporated (Limited) in 1889. The firm exists to this day, now known as Brother UK Ltd.

I checked the website and they have domestic sewing machines listed, so if you click on the Contact link they may be able to help you - apart from that I can only wish you luck (have you tried eBay?)
