how much have you spent today 15/7

Today i've not done too badly - i spent £2 on a sandwich for my lunch - and £3 on a pizza for dinner (b.o.g.o.f from our local pizza place so £6 divided by 2 people) I wouldn't normally spend this much but i'm currently 2/3rds through a 15 hour shift at work including 7 hours overtime at double time so i figure it's an acceptable expenditure (i would've made my own food this morning but was up late so didn't have time!)

I've spent £3.50 at Bolton Market, love going there, needed some veg and 70p on some water - what a rip off! But I had the hangover from hell so no choice :D

£2.49 - new plant (actually a Money Tree, am having a look into some Feng Shui, though it's v.pretty anyway)
£1.00 lottery ticket - impulse purchase, don't often bother, bit annoyed with myself
    2 x 39p cat food
90p Solero ice lolly, another impulse purchase designed to avoid collapsing in the heat.

That's it, no other pennies will depart my purse today.

I was also at the library and borrowed three books. I love the library...all those books at your disposal for not even a single penny, and not one of them destined to become clutter in your own house. Fantastic!

Saturdays are bad for me, it's when I spend the most money all week. Today it was £40 at Tesco (£49 before discounts) £24 meat, fish and veg at the market, we are entertaining family & friends tomorrow and needed some extra meat, salad etc.

Far too much in Boots :o (£82), but I stocked up on 3 for 2, bought toiletries, a decent speed travel hairdryer and sunscreen/aftersun for my daughter's holiday, and in my defence I used my last 10% off voucher from last months magazine so I bought some stuff I don't really need yet (hairspray etc) but I will in the next few weeks.:money:

    £82 in Boots?

Thought I was bad when I visit Boots, my average spend is about £40. Usually impulse buys that I could do without, but all those girly goodies, too much temptation :D:D

£82 in Boots    I'm still shocked LOL
