a couple of weeks ago i got a 1 pound tesco bargin a 6 place cuttlery set from the 'once it's gone' section - only cheap with black plastic handles, but i take them to work with my packed lunch (better than loosing my good cuttlery, and stuff in the staff room is minging!!) it scanned through the till at 5 pounds, but the lad on the tills noticed the box had 1 pound printed on it and changed it down to that. he also told a supervisor that the product was scanning at the wrong price and to report it. imagine my suprise when 2 weeks later i go back in the store and can see they still have some left - i thought at that price i may as well buy some for the staff room as well. when i got to the shelf all the packaging had 5 pound stickers over the 1 pound printing and the shelf lables had changed, the red 1 pound casing had also been removed.
therefore floflo is just as likely to find they have been price changed to 5 pounds as to 10p in a few weeks!!!

Someone reported they have gone 3 for 2 in their store but didn't see any signs in my store.
  • They were 3 for 2 in our Tesco Extra at the weekend.

This is happening in a few stores. As far as I have seen, there are stores that have been putting £5 stickers over the £1 print on the box.

FloFlo is absolutely right, this isn't a grabbit until they reduce the price to 10p / 1p like the last times.
  • 342 in my local. They have 24 piece cutlery sets supposed to be £5, but have £1 on the box. So in theory 72 pieces for £2. They had to reduce the price of the cutlery manually.
  • Card of either 8 or 12 tubes of superglue for £1 in our local Tesco Extra
