Transferring €uro's to Greek Hotel with no charge !!

Hi Guys,
Not sure if anyone can help....or if I've posted in the right place... but I just wondered.....
I have agreed a special price with a hotel I have used several times and they will honour this price if I can pay direct into an account of theirs - they can't accept cc over the phone and I want to pay up front as early as poss...
So I wanted to know is it possible to make a transfer to a Greek Bank account without paying the £25-39 charges offered by my two banks (Abbey and Barclays)........??

Have a look at EuroGiro which is a fixed £7.50 charge. It is operated by A&L in the UK.

No good if OP doesn't have an A&L account - or the recipient the right sort of local account.
The fees quoted by OP do seem on the high side - £20 is more common.0 -
True but OP might have a friend with an A&L account or want to open one to get the 8.5% interest deal (and the cashback) and the Greek end of the deal might have a suitable account.0
