Hello Mum-2-4
Have you had a look at the threads in the 'Special Occasions and Celebrations' board?
If you haven't, there are lots of ideas in there.;)

Buy her a 'night off'.
Give her a printed bit of card with a promise from you that she has the night off. Then promise to do everything that she normally does, for one night, cooking, cleaning etc. Priceless!0 -

Just a quick note to say-my 12yr old daughter must have logged on with my details, to ask about my birthday tomorrow. Thanks everyone, for all the lovely suggestions, she suprised me earlier with 2 bunches of flowers she bought from Asda this morning, she was hovering round the member of staff, who was reducing the flowers & got me two bunches for 79p! I have definately taught her well, another MSE in the making.
Thanks again.0 -
Sweet :T
Thought from your/her username that you were a very young grandma to 4

Virtually all mums love M&S and you can get quite big discounts on M&S vouchers at http://marks.auctionadvertisements.com
You can either give her the voucher itself, take her shopping in store, take her out for coffee or lunch in an M&S cafe, buy a nice ready meal or special foods at an M&S Food store, or get her a carigan or any combination - so quite versatile!0
